Move with Me - AAPI

This May, two local wellness communities came together for something truly special. With Well Social and She Club co-hosted an evening dedicated to celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, not just through words, but through movement, storytelling, and community.

Women from across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area gathered to honor the month in the most fitting way: by showing up for themselves and for each other.

Breaking a Sweat, Building Community

The evening kicked off with an energizing full-body workout led by Dini of With Well Social. The energy in the room was electric. A room full of women pushing themselves, cheering each other on, and setting the tone for a night of intention and inspiration.

Voices That Inspire: The Business Panel

After the workout, attendees were treated to an intimate panel featuring three local female Asian entrepreneurs who are actively shaping their industries:

  • Michelle Vo — Founder of After School Coffee House

  • Tuyet-Nhi — Behind the vision of Happy Endings Hospitality

  • Dini — Creator and force behind With Well Social

Each panelist opened up about their entrepreneurial journey: the highs, the challenges, and the moments that defined their paths. Attendees had the rare opportunity to ask questions directly, making the conversation feel personal and real. These weren't polished talking points, but honest stories from women who built something from the ground up.

Fueling Up & Finishing Strong

The night wrapped up on a delicious note, with post-workout fuel generously sponsored by AN Asian Kitchen and Roll Play. Good food, good people, and a whole lot of heart.

More Than a Workout. More Than a Panel.

Events like this are a reminder of what community can look like when it's intentional. This was a space where AAPI women were celebrated, uplifted, and seen — and where every woman who walked through the door left feeling a little more connected than when she arrived.

Here's to many more nights like this. 🌸
